Big fat flakes are drifting lazily down. It's not really laying on the pavement or road, it's slightly too warm for that, but the hedges and grass are getting a dusting.

I reckon we got about 3 inches.
I'm staying at home today.
Thomas might be too, but the school phone is engaged so we don't know if it's open or not.

It's snowing.
The forecast is for up to 15cm (6") of snow overnight. Stop sniggering in Minnesota - it's a lot!
I'll probably work from home tomorrow, unless it turns out to be just a flurry.

We had the first snow of winter last night. If previous years are anything to go by it'll also be the last snow of winter.
Luckily, I'm working from home today, otherwise I'd still be stuck in traffic.
